3. Set your limiting magnitude: Eye & Telescope is the only software that can predict how an object will look like in your telescope. This calculation is based on the magnitude of the faintest stars still visible with the naked eye.
The result: Eye & Telescope uses color codes to show you how difficult it will be to see the object in your telescope. The view in the eyepiece is simulated, and you can find out which of your eyepieces is the best for this object and when is the best moment to look at your target.
